The writing of the application for job shadowing and study visits within the ICY-network has been started and many members have entered the project. All participating partners are now giving their input to the application in order to focus the issues and needs each partner is seeking to address through the project. The idea is to match the interests and needs of the participating youth leaders, youth workers.
Participating ICY members are; Municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Netherlands) KEDITH / Thessaloniki (Greece) Municipality of Stara Zagora (Bulgaria), VVJ (Belgium), the Council of Chokhatauri Municipality (Georgia), Culture and Sport Department - Municipality of Cinisello Balsamo (Italy), Kanuuna represented by Lahti and Helsinki (Finland) and KEKS (Sweden). KEKS is represented by 5 municipalities, in Stockholm, in Malmo and in Gothenburg regions. In addition KEKS partner from the Logbook- project is represented by Ringsend and Irishtown youth service Dublin (Ireland). KEKS (Sweden) is the lead partner.
The aim of this joint Erasmus+ KA1 project is for youth workers to gain new knowledge and experience through peer –learning by transnational job shadowing and/or study visits. Through this competence building activity for youth workers staff will be able to bring back home valuable new knowledge to their own organisations in order to further develop the youth work on different levels. The mobilities should have a clear impact on youth workers’ daily work with young people.
The objective is also to strengthen and build solid partnerships inside the ICY-network and to be able to build and further develop youth projects such as for example youth exchanges and European voluntary service.
