InterCity Youth Conference 2017 – Leuven, Belgium – Youth work in urban context
The upcoming InterCity Youth conference will take place from 15th till 17th of November in Leuven, Belgium.
The key questions for this conference are:
- Which (partial) answers can be given by youth work on the different urban challenges;
- Which urban youth work initiatives work well and which are popular for children and young people;
- What support is needed for youth work in urban context with a focus on these topics:
- Visible youth work: a place for youth work, space for youth work and support for youth work
- Accessible youth work: accessible and with a place for everyone
- Diverse youth work: a diversity of youth work forms, participants, volunteers and youth workers
- Qualitative youth work: quality of the activities and youth workers
