Vårvindens Youth Center is a part of the municipality of Gothenburg. We are open for youths in grades 6-9, ages 12-16. We who work here are educated youth workers and we are here to stimulate and support activities based on young people’s active commitment, influence and participation. We run both an open and targeted operation.
Everyone needs a sense of security, community and justice. Everyone wants to be met with positive expectation and be seen as unique individuals. Everyone wants to express themselves and experience the opportunity to influence. Everyone wants to have fun, develop and feel that they are doing meaningful things for themselves and others.
We want to be the place where young people get the opportunity to experience all this.
In Vårvinden Youth centre there is a “Project Office” where young people can get support from the youth leaders to make their idea become reality.
